"Our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. Continuous such accidents have raised a question mark on the health system of the state government. We demand a detailed investigation so that the culprits of this negligence are given strict punishment from the judiciary," he added.

Arvind Dharmapuri, a BJP MP from Telangana, took a swipe at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday, saying that if the "Bharat Rashtra Samithi's steering wheel is KCR hands, then it means it is in a drunkard's hand".

Following the release of the caste survey report by the Bihar government, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed his support for it and called on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to set aside politics and conduct a nationwide caste census.
